Allright theirs a lot of different aspects so every aspect of the dome project and what fish or other animals we will want to keep in the system. And that is also dependent on some factors. First of all we have to know and consider the factors of the enviroment in with we will keep the fish to know wich we can choose from. Temperature is the most obviously. A lot of fish requires 20+ all year around and others like the native ones requires maximum 16 degres. (Cooling the tank will be harder and more unpractical in the summer that heating it or moving the fish will be in the winter).
Another obvious factor is the size of the tank. At is hard for me to speculate in but it could be up to 6000 liters but should be at least 1000.
We want to keep them ethically, not to crowded or in combinations that lead to problems and so they can live good livet and grow and be healthy. Their are probably laws around this too so Im looking in to that as well.
The third dilemma is if we want to eat them. If we can eat them is of course relative but if some other than ourselves is going to eat them or know that we eat them we migt need a lot of other permits and controlls form vetrinairys and Livsmedelsverket or Jordbruksverket. (Looking in to that) We can probably with minimum troble grow edible fish just as an example but the problem would be if it is actual food production.

Here is a link to a very good site Im currently scanning for information:

Jordbruksverket is generally very positive towards aquaculture! We can probably even get some cash from them, up to 30% of the initial cost.
We will probably get away easy with such a small scale aquaculture. Their scale of diffrent permits seems to start at 1000 kg of fishfood per year! Above 40kkg we need to evaluete and calculate enviromentalist effects! But theirs still a lot of paragraphs we probably need to follow if we intendent to show it to the world. For example we need to keep a log of everything that happens to the fish. The system also needs to be designed so that it can be emptied and sterilized (!?!?) in case we get some infektions or something.
Another thing is LIVSMEDELSVERKET and their standards... Maybe if we only consume the products ourselves we wont need controlls. It would ofcourse be best if we approved to service and sell our produce, but theese controlls are probably very expansive and standardised for larger production. well we should talk to them and ask what they think is best to know what to aim for.
I dont know if it has anything to do with legislation but people who go big with aquaponics rekommend having two separate systems for fish and plants and then dosing the purifyed nutrians in to the hydroponics. However we do we will probably need some ackurate way of knowing nutrians levels.
